Probably my favorite is in the music and audio section, far down the list. I was just curious as to what I was against. Way in the back, I see someone advertising videogame music using sheet music. In this day and age, rather than use a DAW, they want to use Musescore, a free notation software that I used when I was roughly 12 and dropped when I discovered it is pretty much useless for actual music.
Probably my other favorite is a guy advertising drawing specifically in MS Paint. We’ve seen funny buyers, now let’s do the opposite.

In the early years of Fiverr you could request just about anything from Sellers.

One was sending postcards from various locations around the World.

Others were just silly, but fun little Gigs.

Many of those have either disappeared or been cleaned up by Fiverr to project a more professional looking platform.

Musescore is still useful for those who can read and write music with music theory (like me) much faster than using a DAW piano roll for example to enter music or use midi files (But it’s true that I was born in 1968!)

Otherwise I like gigs “I would do what we discussed for a price that we agreed”

I will give you, sheet music may be faster if you’re used to it. The issue is not the notation format, it’s the sound quality. I’ll be honest, the default sounds for that program are absolutley awful.

Yes, by default the midi sounds are played by the computer sound card and it’s awful, but I make the midi file play with the Akai Force sampler sound, and this sounds very nice 😁 (Because the Akai Force accept the midi format)

This one is not funny, but it was the weirdest! The gig image was of a full-length, full-view photo of a naked man from behind. His gig title was I will videotape from behind myself taking a 💩

I flagged that gig multiple times. Nothing happened! Finally, I sent a screenshot to CS. It was down very soon after that. :roll_eyes:

When I first started here years ago, one of the more popular Gigs that had a TON of orders in queue was some guy who juggled chain saws (that were turned on!) I guess that isn’t really funny per se, but, one of the odder ones. I also remember the Gig where the person would spell out a message with alphabet soup.

Unfortunately, there is probably an audience for something this bizarre and disgusting - lots of fetish types do wander this site.

It’s still possible to be professional while doing/saying ridiculous/humorous things. It’s all in the execution.

Most of my recent green screen spokesperson orders have been for odd/humorous content and I expect that since I am not a typical looking spokesperson (but I’ll never be gyrating and waving my hands without a shirt on; no one wants to see that, least of all me).

I haven’t seen any really funny gigs yet but have seen a buyer looking for someone to record their own farts. I think it was 10 farts for $5. Ridiculous budget.

The mere setup and placement of audio equipment for such a task would be quite awkward to say the least.

I’m not sure what kind of awful diet one would need to adopt to knock out 10 farts on demand either. I wonder what his deadline was.
