“”"""""""""" I can’t send buyer requests on fiber “”""""""""""""

I did his job perfectly, he wanted no disclosure and he made no contact. He orders me then he goes offline. I deliver his order for 72 hours, try to contact him, at least after 7 days, he doesn’t want any revision, I told him his communication is not good, he doesn’t talk to Go to Clay with 1-star review.

What can I do as a new freelancer in this situation? Even after getting a 5-star review, the buyer request is not being sent … !!!

As long as the buyer provides all the necessary information for an order to properly be completed, they are not mandated to communicate to the seller in any other regards.

There are chatty, sociable buyers and there are quiet, to-the-point buyers. Telling a buyer that their “communication is not good” is a surefire way to tick off the buyer, get a low review, and have the buyer never purchase from you again, which seems to be exactly what happened in this case.

As for what you can do now; the only thing you can do is hopefully get more orders and hopefully get good reviews to boost your average seller rating.

Exactly what @enunciator said.

You deserved the 1-Star review after telling the Buyer that their communication with you was poor.

I have several Buyers I hear nothing from after they place an order and I deliver.

I see Fiverr in this way…my part of the contract is to do the requested work and to deliver it on time.

Once I’ve done my part, I’m finished.

Maybe that Buyer will come back to me, maybe not.

Remember, there are tens of thousands of Buyers here.

You have no shortage of potential work so one person who doesn’t communicate well is the least of your problems.

Thank you for your valuable advice. I can’t find any way to get more orders, because I can’t send buyer request .

Thanks for your valuable advice. I’m new to Fiverr so I don’t understand that, I hope there will be no more mistakes. But I don’t understand how to increase the rating if I can’t send a request I feel very helpless.

Hi there,

If he was happy with the work then a 1 star review seems pretty harsh but it obviously rubbed him up the wrong way to be told his communication is bad. If a buyer goes quiet after delivery you can assume they’re happy and leave it be. Job done, money in the bank. If a buyer leaves you a review, you then have an opportunity to review them too. If not, just move on. You can leave a reply to his review but tread carefully, your reply is public and needs to be polite and professional. If you can’t be polite, scream into a pillow and let it go.

Another thing you need to know is that contacting a buyer to discuss a review is against the Fiverr terms of service and will get you a warning on your account so don’t do it.

The only thing you can do now is wait and see. You have two very good reviews on your profile so fingers crossed the orders come in. One bad review won’t put everyone off. As enunciator said, if you’ve been relying on buyer requests to get work then have a look and see how else you can improve your profile to gain direct orders. Write down all the changes you can make and make them all at once. Don’t edit constantly as changes need to be checked by CS and that can hit your ranking for a day or two.

The last thing I’ll say is take the time to read the terms of service so you know exactly what to avoid on Fiverr. CS aren’t concerned with “But I didn’t know.”

All the best.

Treat others as you want to be treated!

Some buyers never write me, they just purchase my service. During the order I’ll continue to update them even if they don’t answer me back. They may even leave me a feedback or a tip as soon as the order is completed.

Many people prefer to have their job done without back and forward communication. They just want to buy, write their requirements and get the result.

Why would you treat this buyer differently just because he didn’t write you? I would be really offended if I purchased a service and then received that type of treatment. It’s lack of professionalism

Also read the ToS! You have violated it in one of your gigs. Because of that, your gig could be removed or you could get a warning.

You are right @looseink. I had a buyer who rarely come in fiverr and replay my text.
