First gig commission problem

Hi! Today I completed my first gig on Fiverr and it was a custom order for a client and I put 40$.

On my orders page, at the very top in a green bar it says “Order Completed. You earned 25.60$”
But when I go to Earnings, there it says Net Income 32$.

Which one is correct? I have no idea why it says 25.60$.

Fiverr takes 20% of your earnings. So since the order was for $40, Fiverr will be taking $8, which leaves you with $32.

The $25.60 might just be a glitch.

I contacted my buyer to ask this. He says he sees that there is an 8$ dollar discount. And he said maybe I put a discount by mistake. But I am looking at the custom order options now, there is no input for discount setting. And I clearly remember that I just put 40 and sent the custom order.

Hmm, I haven’t heard of discounts within custom orders!

If you go to the orders tab and click on completed orders, how much is your order for?

It was supposed to be 32$ because fiverr took 8$, they always took 20%. Are you sure is 25.60 dollars? Because if is another currency this can be the problem. For example my fiverr is with euro as currency so my if i make 30$, fiverr take 6$ and i stay with 24$ but it will appear as 19.88 euros.

Then it’s probably a glitch! The net income is the correct one because that’s where you withdraw money from. Thanks!
