Google doc link (Real or scam)

Today I received a message and it had a google docs link and said this:

(Link) Hope this proposal finds you well. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best, (Person’s name)

I am new to this site and I do not want to fall for any scams or phishing. How can I tell if the google doc link is legit or not? Any thoughts, ideas, comments?

Google doc links can be perfectly fine, but genuine buyers sending them usually tell you what’s the project about and what they need from you.

Vague messages like that one are often attempts to get you to communicate outside of Fiverr, or other kinds of scams.

I had this happen this morning. This is my first buyer, the offer came from an account is brand new...started this month, and there is no information available on the buyer's profile. They asked me to click a google docs link and check out a proposal cause they're "looking for a partner in the U.S.". I asked if they would be willing to share at least some of the proposal via inbox, and they refused, saying "contact me through the information provided, only." I responded, saying I would have to decline their offer, because I don't feel safe clicking an outside link with no information.

Is there a way to report accounts like this? I would hate for anyone to download something harmful to their device. Should I leave a screenshot of the exchange here? How can I warn people?
