Hi Everyone, does gig impression gets down if we do not stay online more often? I was quite occupied with my personal stuffs. I couldn’t stay online longer. and now my gig is on the last page. this happened in just 2 days. In fact, I delivered an order in that two days. Still I am facing this issue. I have seen people not being online/active for days and their profiles are shown in the first page of search result. why is that? do I need to do something with my gig? last time when I posted this everyone said my gigs are fine. Again its been a week, my gig is hidden 😦

Hi, Yes! you need to stay active as long as you can in fiverr or forum. If you get away or vanish for long time that do cause gig ranking fall.

Now you can try to be active as much as you can. Forum activity is also important.

I think the problem is slightly negative review. In order to be in front pages good reviews are needed.

Once you get couple of good feedback and reviews your profile and gigs will come up.

it is like that.

When you get average review someone with 5* is placed in front.

Activity is also important but not as much as reviews and order.

Hi Marina, thanks for the suggestion. I totally agree with you.

Yea… Generally clients search online seller. SO, If you always online then your gig will show online and top of the lists, online seller gig result lower than offline.

So, if you always online then you will get more click and views.

And your gig impression will increase…

But I have seen people who aren’t online at all and no reviews at all still they show up 😦

So much false information again. Please do not spread information that is not true, as it will spread like wildfire from person to person who believes it, and nobody gets wiser.

  1. You don’t get more impressions if you are active (Unless someone uses the online sellers only filter and finds your gig). I have seen zero difference in impressions when I didn’t log in for about two days when compared to staying logged in and refreshing all the time for a whole day.

  2. Using this forum has no effect on your gigs, no matter if you post every hour or once a year. Only exception is if you promote yourself.

  3. Gig’s reviews have nothing to do with the gig’s placement and the amount of impressions it gets. Even horribly rated gigs have been sitting on first page steadily, and I have not seen any difference in impressions no matter a gig’s average rating in the past 30/60 days.

From my experience, there are several factors affecting gig ranking, impression and click.
Staying online is one of the best thing among the factors. It will help any level seller to get more clicks there by orders. Most of the buyers filter sellers who are online to get quick replay.
Another thing is promoting gigs.

I also faced the same issue of getting out from the search result. Now, I am giving my best to come into first page.

Hi, I am just discussing that might be one of the cause. I am not saying this is it.
