Ask CS to cancel the orders without affecting gigs perfomance?

Hi, Currently I have an order from my client. but they don’t provide any requirements. so I can’t start to work.
and then after placing an order, he just disappeared until now.
delivery time will be ended soon, he still not provide requirement.
i know if i cancel this or waiting until delivery time ended, it will affect my gigs performance as this is count as late delivery.
so, is there a possibility to ask cs to cancel these orders without affecting my gigs?
