I’m going to pull a Miss Meanie-pants here.
This thread is quickly turning into the “worst advice” for sellers.
Staying active on Fiverr or on the Forum does NOT help.
I do Fiverr on the side, I stay on Fiverr for only several hours a day because
I have this thing called life. I drop by the forum a few times a day, maybe less than
an hour in total.

I still get orders.
How? Because I put in all the necessary time and effort into creating a
decent gig. I know ( at least up to a certain point) how business works.
I know what professionalism is. I know what service is.
All new sellers should know that. If you don’t what that is, read and study about it first.
Warning: It’s going to take a LONG time.

It’s pretty safe to ignore all advice given on a post like this, as someone already mentioned. Unless you visit the seller profile of the advice giver, and they have been selling like crazy over the years, in which case they should know what they’re talking about.

My advice would be to make sure you use good keywords on your gig when editing it. That’s the only thing that has given me a temporary boost in impressions a few times, but it might have been a coincidence only.
