Are external discounts allowed?

I currently have an order for $5 and its not going as smoothly as I was hoping and some features of their order will be missing
Is it against Fiverr TOS to PayPal the buyer 50% of the order price?

Yes, it is against TOS. I recommend taking a good, long look at the TOS if you even have to ask that question. You could get banned for trying that route, or even mentioning it to your client.

Are these missing features due to your fault? In that case, you shouldn’t have accepted the order, and the buyer is right to receive a full refund. Especially if it’s just $5…I mean at that low of a price, for whatever it is, you need to provide what you advertise. That goes for every sale, but especially for something so bare minimum.

Whatever the case may be, discuss options with your buyer. If time is an issue, ask for an extended delivery. But if they ask for a cancelation, I say they deserve it if you can’t provide exactly what they purchased.
