I think a lot depends on the Fiverr level. Only a low percentage of Fiverr’s Choice gigs seem to be for unleveled sellers. The higher the level, the higher the chance seems to be to get the Fiverr’s Choice badge on a gig (eg. someone who is TRS probably has the best chance).

Having a high rated gig also probably helps (eg. >=4.9 star average). Having a certain number of reviews on the gig might also help (though I’ve seen one with 14 reviews, but probably most have more reviews).
