Hello everyone!

I have been going through the giant list of buyer requests on Fiverr and I have found it rather difficult to work with buyers when I have no idea who they are. It would be nice to click on their profile picture next to their request description, or at least their profile name would help. I would like to know the type of buyer I am working with, and I would like to see their ratings as well.

Thank you,

Side note, it comes across a bit pushy when the first thing you send is an order without the ability to even ask questions. It would be nice if I could access their inbox for a few details before I send an offer.

There is literally TOS warning that if you do this you will get banned so I do not think they will change by 180° and allow sellers to spam buyers’ inbox.

you send is an order

You do not have to send an offer. Sending an offer is a risk you decide to take or not.

My example - after reaching Level 1 and 2 I never go to BR, like ever.

Would you communicate differently if you knew it?

Let’s say one Buyer has 4-star rating, second Buyer has 5-star rating, one is VID, second one is not,…

Not me. I treat all buyers the same, unless they are obvious scammers.

I would communicate normally unless they have low ratings. Then I wouldn’t communicate at all.

I meant just one quick message asking for extra details. Why would I supposedly “spam” someone that I’m trying to communicate and do business with?

You do not get extra details, that is the whole point of BR.

BR is bidding auction where you place your bid and whatever he needs you to do if he accepts your bid you do it.

No matter what it is. If you do not like it you do not place your bid.

If they need you they will look for you in search results. But they do not need specific buyer, they want people to bid on their request and the most favorite for them will get the job.

Unfortunately if it worked like this you’d get even more spam/bad responses to your requests because people would message you hoping to get traffic or gig purchase consideration.

There’s a big myth among sellers there if you can’t get traffic it boosts you in the rankings. Sellers would harass you to exploit that.

That is a good point, I tend to get my work in large groups rather than consistent streams. If other sellers harass me, it would be nice to be able to report spam though, less competition!
