Why the $5 limit?

Fiverr has already eliminated the obligation for all gigs to be only $5, but it is still keeping it as the lower limit. Why?

I would like my lowest priced package to be priced lower than $5, is there a way to achieve this?

There’s no way to have a gig/package price < $5 currently.

I have read the TOS, however I couldn’t find an explanation for why there is a $5 price limit or whether or not custom offers can go below the $5 limit.

That’s the rule of this platform, you can’t change them.
