Here on August 1st 2021 to report that the same thing is happening to me, too. Been revisiting it and trying again a couple of times a day for 3 days now to no avail. I created a customer support ticket requesting help. Hopefully it gets resolved because this is turning me off to working on Fiverr and I haven't even started yet.

Yea they still didn't fix this problem because I'm having it too. I made a ticket with customer services and all theyre doing is switching around representatives and telling me is to make sure my contact email is correct. I never even get to the publish tab. How can you leave a problem like this unsolved?

Hi.I faced this matter too.But it solved  after verifying my phone number. If you loging to fiverr via your mobile first install a desktop keyboard app and switch it as your current keyboard  before comfirm the verification code.

So hope this will be helpful !

This happened to me when I was trying to publish my gig 10 days ago. I did not have to download any app or contact anyone, and the confirmation email came in less than 48 hours.

I'm still very new here, but can see why this would be used as some form of verification prior to posting a gig--especially if sellers don't have any social media accounts to connect to Fiverr. I don't; Reddit doesn't count.

It was pretty frustrating at the time, though, to be held up at that last second while my engines were all fired up and ready for a launch.

Had the exact same problem, e-mailed support (they don't make it easy to contact them).  Support replied "fill out a W-9", then marked the issue solved.  I ALREADY HAD filled out a W-9 and told them that in the initial message.

No idea why they've wasted my time on an English test and jumping through so many hoops for them to have a buggy website that keeps having the same issue for years.

If they don't want new people signing up to sell, they should just shut down the sign up for new sellers (and if they DO want new people signing up, they should fix their website).

I just spent an entire day trying perfectly. *sigh* Set up everything correctly on my laptop, created the gig offering, did my w-9 (three times..because..yeah..), got an email saying it’ll be a few days (??) for it to be reviewed…and meanwhile I can’t publish the gig. So…yeah, a whole day of writing content, jumping through hoops, verifying accounts..in the hopes of getting some work. And here I sit, the most recent member of the “try perfectly” society. Can someone pass the chips and salsa down here? Thanks.😑
