Y’all… I submitted a buyer request to find an editor for some church worship videos. I got 76+ offers in less than an hour (which I didn’t even know could happen since I thought they only allowed 10 per level). Of course, most of the offers were copy/paste or unrelated to what I asked for, but one person said one of the funniest things ever, so I thought I’d share:

I haven’t parsed through all of the offers yet, but it’s not looking too good… Maybe they should’ve asked God for wisdom in putting together an actual offer… :woman_shrugging:

Well they did use one of the pillars of salesmanship in looking to create a personal connection - through your shared Jesus-ness.

But in contravention of the sayings of said Jesus, they totally forgot that a tree is to be judged by the fruit it bears. And that a good house needs to be built on rock, not on vagueness.

If I had seen that BR (which I wouldn’t in music) and the offer was fair, I might have pitched. I would have shown some of my video work.

But in all fairness, statistics show I probably still wouldn’t have heard anything which makes it less attractive to do more than garbage offers 😉
