Hi Guys,

This is really an important issue. Are we sellers under threat of our works being stolen?
When i was looking for where my gig ranks I could see many gigs with the same stolen images of Top rated sellers with different names. Isn’t it unfair?

How to flag them? I was shocked on seeing these copied gigs

Go to any gig you are sure to be infringing copyright (be sure, just because 3 people are using the same image it doesn’t mean the 3 are stealing material - one of them may be the original creator!) and there’s an icon to flag the gig somewhere, I think in the top right corner.

I saw the same image in a gig of a top rated seller from very long. As this is of the same niche I used to search for my gig ranking page so its sure that all the 3 are copied one.

Yeah, if you saw the same image a long time ago on a TRS, that’s probably the legit creator. Flag all those as copyright infringement then.

Will it harm me in anyway if i flag them. because of the reason that they haven’t copied from me?

No, there’s no relation. Anyone can flag a gig, even a buyer. What may happen is that Fiverr does not do anything about it since it’s not your content, but it won’t impact your account. Now, if you start flagging a lot of sellers with false claims, then you will probably get in trouble, but in a case like this, where 3 gigs have the same image, it really should be fine.

Those guys should all get flagged. The platform has way too many logo designers as is, it doesn’t need a bunch of new accounts copying designs. Flagging them is actually helping Fiverr be a better platform.

Yeah. How do they copy the work like this. Its totally misusing the platform.

It’s clearly against terms of service and copyright law. They will all be banned eventually, they may sell a couple gigs in the meanwhile, but their accounts won’t go anywhere long term.

Yes. Too bad. There are lots of talented sellers struggling to get an order but these people are easily stealing others work.

The problem with this, is that we would need the URL to the original owner… we can’t flag them without it 😕

Requesting all Best and Senior, PRO, TOP RATED sellers on fiverr, please Beware of copycats. Today when i am checking search tags of my gigs, i found a copycat seller who has my Roll up banner 3rd gig image as his main gig image. Attached the proof and also attached an original image which used in my gig. [banners%20Mock%202] [image] These banners are originally designed by me to my client’s projects and I work hard and designed each and every gig image for all my gigs. Now copycats like thes…

I am a top rated seller and many other new sellers stolen my gig images earlier and used as their gig images. Follow that link to see more. I suggest to all the new sellers who has wish to earn money on fiverr offering some services, please your own creative idea or work, do not copy others work to get some orders for you. Fiverr is really doing well in NYSE and it has a very big future and we may see it will be in S&P 100 or DOW top 100 companies soon. Because of these cheap tricks from some sellers the buyers losing trust. Please do not cheat work hard and earn.

I saw my main gig being promoted on YouTube, with my own face and everything without my consent.

So yes, people still stuff left and right. A person even emulated the same gigs I have on other platform, with my own descriptions and images. Not to mention Fiverr copycats. So yeah, people steal a lot of stuff. But don’t worry that much, this shows they have no skill and while they might be able to make a few bucks, people will not buy from them again and they will have bad reviews. It’s still unfair to see your hard work stolen by others…
