Hi there, wonderful Fiverr folk.

Would anyone be kind enough to rate one particular gig of mine?

Any improvements? Suggestions?

I tried a cross fade between narrations - Annoying/Good?

I deliberately didn’t put any music behind my voice as it’s something I need to research to perfect.

This is the first time I’ve checked out your gig. In my defence, Discobot and his quotes have kept me pretty busy.

I really like it. You have a beautiful, attention-grabbing gig pic, and your samples are clear yet meaningful.

If I needed voice-over work, I’d hire you, especially at your prices!

I’m not 100% sold on that, but I wasn’t turned off by it, either. I’m not a big sound guy, that’s not my area of expertise, so I’ll leave others to comment more on that.

Improvements? Um… there’s a grammar error in the following phrase: “calming tone to it’s quality.” Just remove the apostrophe. You may also want to experiment with the tag “British male voice over”. When you have the same keyword/key phrase in your title, text and tags, you, supposedly, rank a little better for that term. At the moment, you have that exact phrase in your title and description, but not in your tags.

Anyway, you’re welcome! I’m quite fussy about my voiceovers for nature programs. Attenborough set the bar so darn high, didn’t he? But I could actually listen to you narrate a wildlife documentary.

Wow! Wildlife narration - High praise indeed. Careful - I’ll need a wheelbarrow for my ego!

I wasn’t sure about my Attenborough video? The video quality is a little poor. I just was having fun with overdubbing.

I thought maybe just audio with background pictures?

Hi Nate!

I heard your sample. I might be wrong, but If I were you, I would make a single script transitioning my voice along instead of pasting different sample segments. Right now the transition between those samples isn’t smooth and doesn’t sound nice.

Maita here thinking… You could also insert an old radio dial effect to join the samples so to make it sound as if someone was tuning for a particular station. :thinking:
