They will respond within 10 days. You need to have patience.

The same people keep responding because the majority of forum members still don’t get that it is important to read what you sign (the ToS). If people start acting like adults, research stuff for themselves, and accept the consequences of their actions, then we wouldn’t need to keep responding to the same things over and over.

Aha one day for buyers and 10 days for sellers.

I’m not Fiverr support. I just know why policy exists and why you need to follow it. I’m not judging you. I’m just sharing the facts. You broke the rules and now you’re facing the consequences of breaking those rules – consequences you agree to when you sign up.

I’m not a judge. I just read and don’t expect irrational special treatment for breaking rules

Nothing I’m saying is specific to Fiverr. It’s just common sense.

Policy is made to protect companies. So what would be the point in letting people break it?

Yeah, well, buyers are their source of income. I think even you would keep your source of income happy! Also, like I mentioned above, they probably ignored your message cause you ended up trying to get them to take your warning back.

I needed an answer.

I did not get a reply from the ticket when we (buyer+seller) were having problems to cancel the order.

They replied the buyer happily.

But, may be a simple reply for me like:

“We are sorry, we do not allow orders with milestones to be canceled. We cancel them ourselves because we are working on that part.”?

I am not surprised by your answers because one of you even tagged me as “Cheating” I have done.

Thanks but no thanks, I am a random seller who got stuck because of their TOS. My intentions were not to harm anyone. May be things would have been better for me if I got a reply from support.

I even tried to delete this thread but I do not have permission as I see on my admin panel.

If you showed Fiverr support just half of the attitude that you’re displaying here, I really don’t know what you’re expecting from them. I’m not a part of their team, so I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes when it comes to their response times and how they handle things, but having this sort of outlook surrounding this situation isn’t going to get you anywhere. You need to be patient, and wait for their reply, whenever that comes, and move on from there. Threatening not to use Fiverr…well that really isn’t going to get you anywhere, nor get under Fiverr’s skin. They’ll gladly work with those who don’t break TOS.

It’s not possible to unintentionally coerce someone. That’s absurd.

If by “unintentional” you mean you didn’t know it was a breach of the ToS, not knowing the rules doesn’t mean you get away with breaking them.

Anyways, the thing I have understood now is that if Fiverr support cares for 10 buyers then they care for one seller. So, if a buyer gets a reply in 1 day the seller will get a reply in 10 days. Coma (same sarcasm as done by mariashtelle1).

Yes, again ToS!!! That is what the whole issue is here! You didn’t read the ToS, so you got a warning.

And, you sure do have a big attitude for someone who didn’t even read the ToS, and thus keep talking about things you know nothing about.

You have spent so much time writing in this topic. I think that time would be better spent reading the ToS and Community Standards, so you do not make the same mistake again. Or, you know, you could have used the time to find another marketplace to work on, since you hate Fiverr so much.

Out of curiosity… Milestone orders can only be started after a custom offer is sent. Why did you send a custom offer to that buyer if you didn’t have the time to work on their project?

It was canceled within 24 hours.

He gave me around 10 days to complete it.

We both agreed that if I do not get time, I will cancel.

To help him, I canceled within 24 hours by checking my deadline next morning.

You are such an awesome person, the way you reacted to me is the only thing I needed, I wrote on top I am an emotional person.

If there are people like you in Fiverr, it gives me hope again.
