My client isn't very tech-savvy

I just sent my client a request to extend the deadline (we both agreed to extend it so no worries!) but she can’t seem to find where the offer lives, and apparently she isn’t getting notified? She’s had trouble communicating with me before so this isn’t surprising, but my deadline is up in five hours and she can’t figure out how to accept the offer and I really don’t want the project to be marked as late just because she can’t navigate the site on her end. I’m freaking out! Has this happened to anyone? Do you have any advice?

Has the buyer accepted an order … this:

she can’t seem to find where the offer lives

not very clear.

If you’re talking about the offer to extend, take a screenshot and draw arrows on where it can be found … then send it to her

I don’t follow. How can you have a deadline if she hasn’t accepted the offer? Please explain what you mean by “deadline”.

What is this?:

deadline extension proposal.

Never ever do this (below). This will get someone a warning or even a ban. Buyers have a deadline for a reason. Please don’t encourage sellers to be discourteous to buyers and break the rules.

My advice to you is to make a partial delivery, it is a way to extend your deadline.

I’m really not sure how she can miss it if she’s writing you messages
You offer pops up among messages and it’s hard to miss because if she is writing you messages it will be right below that offer.

You can also ask her to take screenshots so you could direct her.

I sometimes have to refresh the page a few times for new messages to come up. If nothing else, maybe you can direct her to put in the request from her end and guide her through the process. If that fails, then you’ll just have to deliver the order late. Yes, it affects stats, but completing an order is more important. How much longer do you think it will take to complete?
