Completed order cancelled by Fiverr Support after delivery complete?

I received a large and relatively pricey order from a buyer. I worked closely with the buyer to create the right result and got pre-approval of the final draft from the seller before delivering it to them. After delivery, the buyer thanked me and said they would take one final look when they had time before accepting the delivery.

I woke up the next day to see that Fiverr Customer Support had allowed the buyer to cancel the order after the delivered work was pre-approved and in the buyer’s hand.

How is this possible? This is clearly a way to scam sellers out of their time and money. I have the conversation to prove that the final product was correct and that the buyer was satisfied before cancelling.

Things are already tough with corona and the economy and now my Fiverr reputation is ruined and I am working for some scammer for free.

The only thing you can do is report it to CS. You won’t get your money, but your cancellation rate will go back to normal.

May I ask, what is the price of the order, because I’m curious what make CS decided to cancel the order . Is it the current mood, price of the order, etc…

There are couple a few similar case, where CS just cancel the order without notice the seller

The order was $750. I am pretty frustrated about it - not to mention it was some of my best work too :roll_eyes:

Great news! I got a refund for this order after all!

However, the review stays and CS seems to have conveniently forgotten that the review was the issue I wanted addressing.

Just report to the CS again, and hopefully this will also happened to you 🙂

But $750, also a large sum, not sure, will Fiverr use their own money to add to your revenues 🙂

I think you should able to find your way through, but do take note that CS will take up to 10+ to reply

That’s weird, I think you save the long description first to somewhere else, before you lose it haha.

@shane_smith remove the # from order id field… then it will work

Only CS can help you to solve out this issue, hence in my experience on somewhere, a number of scammers use Paypal or credit cards of others without knowing them, and in this case financial platform gets refund amount to real person, in your case maybe something happens like this. Whenever you get a larger custom order, always increase delivery time to avoid such kind of issues.
