Buyer ask for designing But later he won't Buy, what should I do?

Suddenly, I got a message from a Buyer. He is asking me to design a Gig Image for him. He want to sell on Fiverr! He promise to buy the Gig if he like. I visited his profile and there was no Gig.
I design a gig image for him and send him screenshot! He likes my design but he is not able to buy due to money problem.
Now, he is asking permission to use this image.

You were scammed. NEVER WORK FOR FREE! Buyers who promise to buy from you, if you give them the work they want for free, are not going to hire you.

You shouldn’t say like this. I posted here for taking suggestion as a new seller on Fiverr. I am selling not distributing. I just give him that screenshot not any other file

Simply say before Order i can’t start work.
If he wants to see your work then refer toward your profile.
First negotiate about charges and after placing order you can start work. Normally scammer do like this.

This topic is exactly why I do not give free samples any longer. If someone really “loves” my voice, they should be willing to pay a small charge for a sample of their script. However, if you charge for a sample you need to include no revisions. I just had a buyer who bought my main gig as a sample after discussion and after I sent the sample, she said her client loved my voice but decided on a male. She then requested a revision to avoid completing and paying for the order. I am working with CS on this issue.

So I added a large sample gig with no revisions. Each day I learn something new!

Most buyers are amazing wonderful people. When you turn away a demanding potential buyer, you leave room to help a wonderful buyer.

Off topic, but you need to make sure all the spelling on the image are correct. Rank gearantedd? Those simple mistake may become a turn-off for potential buyers. The design works can still be improved, especially the composition. Also, too much text in one image, it looks so clustered. Just a simple feedback from me 🙂

This makes no sense. You can’t buy things later. How would that even work? You’d resend it to him as an order delivery?

It’s obviously a scam and even if it wasn’t, never do work unless you have an order. No professional would value a seller who does free work before payment is secured. Only scammers and super difficult, entitled people do that.

Correction: commissioned work isn’t a sample. Ever. A sample is something generic that you can share with everyone.

It isn’t free labour and value that you can’t share with anyone else because of confidentiality.
