Seller delivered an empty zipfile (Solved: Order cancelled by CS)

I just got ripped off by a seller on Fiverr. We agreed that this person would solve an engineering problem and deliver the solution. The seller delivered a zipfile. Since there is no chance of seeing preview on zipfiles, I had to mark it as complete in order to download the zipfile and check the contents inside it. There were just a bunch of empty folders. I already contacted Customer Support for this. Do you believe they can solve this case for me? Is there anything else that I should do in a case like this?

You can download the zip file even if you didnt accept it.
There is a download button on the top, once you open the preview

You should contact the seller first and tell him/her that the file is empty, if they do not respond then you should contact CS.

I probably didn’t see that button, I saw one that prompted the download but Fiverr page blocked the download every time. Anyway, I did contact both the seller and customer support.

To give an update to the current situation, an hour later the seller delivered in the chat two pictures with something that is clearly not the solution to the problem, just some calculations there trying to pretend they were the solution. All I can think is that this seller accepted my order because they needed the money so much, but this person was clearly dishonest when they accepted my order, because they don’t know how to do it.

Yes, if seller delivered empty zip file then no worry, first contact with seller and ask for files but if seller don’t send then you can contact to SUPPORT and after reviewing empty file they will cancel and refund you.

Now a days response from support may take up to10 days for human response but after 2-3 days reply (?) on created ticket and within 2,3 days they will definitely respond you.

Seller, delivered some files, but they are just made up calculations. Not sure if that makes any difference. Now this seller is also trying to make up for this, they said they are ready to pay compensation for this (not sure what that means) and also said that they are willing to make the next order for free, which is something I have no interest in because I have no more assignments.

Simply say please fix it and if he’s willing then good otherwise contact to support they will resolve your issue.

I now know that this seller can’t do the task by themselves. I told this person that if they can somehow deliver it to me by getting help or outsourcing it, I’d be completely fine with it, even if it takes a little bit of time. But otherwise, I am obviously not fine with it at all.

Update: Customer Support just cancelled the order and gave back my money. Really grateful for Customer Support, they applied common sense to this issue.
