Client being reported, not my doing Update

Hello !
I recently had a client who I did not end up doing work for.
We discussed the work and I found it didn’t seem the right kind of job for me.
Anyways, our conversation ended there, about a day ago.

Today I received a message from them saying that I reported them and that they shouldn’t have been reported. I tried to explain to them that no reporting had been done, as I had left the conversation alone after no order. They did not believe me and I think they ended the conversation there. I am extremely confused and distressed

Can anyone explain this or help? I would love some answers
-PokiHan

Edit:
The client sent me this screenshot to show me “how I reported them” (I did not report them)
Also, disclaimer, I DID NOT create ANY work for this client, as it violated TOS

I hope this is clear for everyone!

Chances are, they were reported by someone, and they just assumed it was you. It’s nothing to get distressed over but I would consider blocking them since they don’t sound like a pleasant person to work with, throwing accusations out like that.

Hey

I think in this situation you don’t need to reply him any more or you can simply block them as you already explained him everything. But remember blocking is the only option if you don’t want to hear from him or don’t want him to disturb you anymore otherwise if you still wanted to explain then keep talking.

Always remember your conversation is the only thing that describes your personality 🙂

Have a great day!.

I saw your new post and I am writing for you again that your buyer got a warning because he tried to do an academic work which is not allowed on fiverr also I suggest you to not work for him on this project because if you will work on it then you’ll also get a warning as doing someone’s academic work is illegal/not allowed on fiverr.

Note:
You only get 3 warnings on fiverr and getting 3rd warning may lead your account to be deleted from fiverr.
My suggestion:
Block him and don’t work for him anymore.

If you have any further queries do let me know 🙂

Relax and chill.

The OP refused to work for him.

If you did not accept the order, then this should be a false alarm. Maybe the whole conversation you had with the potential buyer triggered Fiverr’s staff that this might be an attempt to break the ToS, which lead to getting your first warning and the client getting reported.

I had a smiliar situation a year ago where i got 2 warnings for a false accusation of delivering empty folders. Needless to say, I have never delivered empty folders, but i still got the 2 warnings.

Perhaps you could clarify the whole situation to the CS and support your reply with screenshots that you refused to accept the order? Hopefully they might take it down. Best of luck!

I don’t believe they are a seller

I don’t believe they are a seller

You could check their profile and see. If they are, also check the services offered.

I checked their account, no gigs and they are not selling anything 🙂

Ok, so maybe the “client” also messaged other sellers asking for that same work to be done, and one or several of them reported that user.

No need for an ongoing conversation for any of them to report the “client”

My bad, In her second thread, which got deleted, I thought that the screenshot attached was of the CS response to her.

In her second thread, which got deleted,

I can understand your confusion. 🙂

May be that buyer posted buyer request asking for help in Academic work and contacted you too ?
This way you are the only one they discussed thing with and CS caught him/her from Buyer’s request…

Fiverr system is automatically flagging some words that might lead to violations and after that fiverr staff manually checking each flag that system did. If they found to be guilty fiverr staff will issue a warning.
