Buyer Refunds After Order Completion

So let’s say the order was completed and no issues from the buyer. Can the buyer talk to CS later and ask for a refund? If this happens, do we get a notification of some sort? Lets say, buyer did not like the final outcome or maybe he is scammer as the scenario.

The “Disputes and Cancellations” section in the ToS:

  • Completed orders (or, where applicable, completed milestones) may be cancelled, upon review of our Customer Support team, up to 14 days after the order (or Milestone) is marked as complete. Please be advised that orders cannot be partially cancelled (i.e. we can only cancel the entire order when it is justified).
  • Orders are not eligible to be cancelled based on the quality of service/materials delivered by the Seller if the service was rendered as described in the Gig Page. Buyers may rate their experience with the Seller on the Order Page, including the overall level of service quality received

This is not true. There are many, many recent posts on the forum about orders cancelled months after the order was completed that were not chargebacks.

A valid point, but knowing the ToS and your rights as a seller is an important starting point.

You are very right though, that the OP should know some of the outliers, so as to be better prepared.

(Some of these are not recent, but still relevant.)
