I got a message now. He/she sent me an attached image, telling to contact on WhatsApp. I politely declined it and said that it may be against Fiverr policies. Is it actually allowed to contact a client outside Fiverr? How do you guys chat with your clients? Kindly guide me. I’m a newcomer here.

No, you cannot communicate with a client outside of Fiverr. The buyer is most likely trying to scam you if they want to communicate outside the platform.

You can chat with your clients via your inbox or your order page.

After politely telling buyers who request that that it’s not allowed, block them. They’re asking you to break the rules, and they know it. You don’t want to work with them.

Just tell him that “I don’t able to contact you outside Fiverr because it is against Fiverr TOS. If Fiverr detects then it creates a bigger problem for me such as Account Suspension, etc.”
