misscrystal Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I have orders not marked as complete and they sit there and meanwhile it affects if I get new orders or not. If someone does mark an order complete I get a new replacement order immediately.I can handle new orders regardless of if they are marked complete or not. No reason for me to have orders come to a halt to wait on this.I was wondering if anyone else noticed this besides me.

If someone does mark an order complete I get a new replacement order immediately. It doesn’t seem to be the case for me. I only have 2 orders delivered at the moment and the 4 orders I got today were from self-promotion and repeat clients. It tends to get slow around the 15th for some reason every month.

I’ve been noticing this for a long time. I also get orders within minutes of each other, such as getting two orders 8 minutes apart yesterday as soon as an order was marked complete. It happens this way all the time.

It’s great to hear things are going well for you at least.
misscrystal Posted July 14, 2020 Author Posted July 14, 2020 I feel like a switch is turning on and off. If it happened once or twice I wouldn’t notice it but it’s consistent. But you’re right I’ll take orders however they turn up.
misscrystal Posted July 14, 2020 Author Posted July 14, 2020 So now that I’ve delivered several orders not marked as complete, I might as well be on vacation. No messages and no orders come in as I wait out the 3 day completion time. I’m not selling anything that requires revisions so this is not something where we need to wait to see if they will complete. It’s a wasted 3 days wait time.
najeeb7 Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 i don’t feel that because i am not able to achieve a single order after responding with detail oriented solution to buyer request almost 300 😥
irshan_cool Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Yes me too feel like same. when there are multiple orders at pending it will take time for new order and if once finished the pending orders will get new orders suddenly.
janali Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 I noticed something similar, it’s like there’s a bus full of potential buyers coming in, sending requests, ordering directly to a point where I have 15 orders to be delivered within 3-4 days, then the requests suddenly stop up until the last of these orders is marked as complete and then instantly I receive new requests. But I’ve never tried that queue-feature so I can’t really tell where it would be coming from other than the occasional spikes and dips that sort of come naturally.

There’s always (for me) a slow-down in on-site orders around promotion/demotion day.
misscrystal Posted July 14, 2020 Author Posted July 14, 2020 It’s messages too. I haven’t gotten a message aside from previous clients in two days, since the last order was delivered.
atebha Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 @misscrystal don’t all gigs have a queue and when the numbers of orders place hit that queue limit. Should that not stop new orders from coming in to prevent over booking on a gig?

I think Fiverr just holds off on on-site promotion so they can tweak their ad campaigns based on the promotions and demotions. @misscrystal I’ve only gotten messages and orders from old clients and off-site orders as well.Hopefully, things will pick up soon.
