Client placed his order and didn’t write requirements and then opened dispute to cancel order

Client placed his order and didn’t fill the requirement form and then opened a dispute to cancel order. The sub heading of dispute is “Buyers remorse. My Apologies.”
I haven’t accepted order cancellation yet. I am actually kind of scared that it might end up effecting my order completion rating, which i honestly don’t want. I have contacted help center but i haven’t got any answer from them yet.
If anyone here has faced a similar situation kindly guide me what to do as i don’t want this order’s cancellation to affect my completion rate.
Thank you.

Yeah this is definitely an odd scenario, but my best guess is that they ordered from you, only to find another seller than best fit what they were looking for/better price/etc. Whatever the reason, reaching out to CS is a good move, and they may be able to revoke the hit to your cancellation rate since it’s on the buyer’s end.

Ultimately I think it would be in your best interest to cancel, especially if you were unable to start work in the first place, and forcing a buyer to go through with a purchase will not end with a great review.

Decline the buyer cancellation request then contact “Customer Support” and share the problem in detail. Also, tell the buyer that you have contacted “Customer Support” and they will review it and cancel the order. Even you can share the problem with your buyer that if you cancel the order automatically it will affect your order completion rating.

I have also faced this same problem many time but I decline the buyer cancellation request and share the problem with the buyer then contact “Customer Support” and share the problem with the team and they canceled the order without affecting my “completion rate”. So “Contact Customer Support”, hope they will cancel the order without affecting your order completion rate.
