Exhausted due to my Job & Fiverr

While I don’t work like you do, I still find myself struggling from time to time to get the Fiverr work done.

I work just 2 hours a day at my son’s school but I’m up at 3 a.m. working on orders and doing workouts at the home. Then, I get the kids ready for school and take hubby to work and kids to school. After that, it’s off to the gym for 30 minutes or an hour - depending on what errands I have to run - in the morning - If no errands, I’ll come home and work on more orders then get ready for work. When I get home from work, I start working on orders again, and then worry about getting the kids from school and getting supper done.

At some point, I still have to clean the house and help them with homework. For my experience, I’m in bed by 8 p.m. and awake by 3 a.m. just to get things done for the business.

I struggle… I may not work full-time outside the home but I still work several full-time jobs inside of it… Many days I am so exhausted I can barely stay awake but I still do it… and somehow manage to keep my high rating…

Honestly, there just isn’t enough hours in the day…

Anytime free time I get is gym time…but I have to pencil it in.

I honestly don’t have time for anything but work I am a high frequency trader/ stock agent. I sell music on 3 different websites, I just started working on my adsense revenue. I made 3 music tracks a day for the last month straight I consume 2 extra strength energy drinks a day and only have time to eat 1 meal a day. good times…

I figure in 4-5 months when I finally pay my self a decent wage and have over 1000 tracks produced along with almost getting a 15% yield return on royalty fund side of my portfolio I should be able to take a couple months off but ya its been hard

I think with me it’s more because I’m fairly new and havn’t leveled up yet. To get off to a good start, I’m offering my drawings for only $5, but I tend to go way too detailed which often means me spending hours on a drawing I would usually get at least $200 for. Some of the more detailed ones easily $500-$700, yet here I’m doing it for $5 and it’s still fun. But as soon as I level up I’m going to increase my rates to something more reasonable, and then I won’t always have to suspend my gigs to catch up on work 🙂

But I like the way Fiverr “feels”. The interactions with clients have a weird sort of reward system aside from the $5 which kinda compensates. For now at least.

Then again, art does tend to be much more personal than selling… I dunno facebook likes or weird stuff like that 🙂

It’s important to keep it fun. Know when to suspend your gigs to buy yourself some time off. Because let’s face it, time is money. And with money you can buy time 😛

@seoresources730 and @cheezees - Thank you guys…

I may be busy, but I wouldn’t change it for a thing. I hate being bored. - I hate sitting down for long periods of time, unless I am working. I enjoy moving as much as possible. And, I’m glad to get my “ME TIME” at the gym because the determination I have had - for everything in my life - has helped me to lose more than 110+ pounds…

I also balance fiverr with a day job. I find that it helps to spread the fiverr work out and do small pieces at a time. Like I will make notes for an article one night and then finish it the next day. I also extended my delivery times a bit to make sure I can get my fiverr gigs done AND account for busy times at work.

Honestly I like my fiverr gigs as a break from my teaching work. 🙂 I have weeks where I am grading a lot of papers, and it’s a nice change of pace to spend time on fiverr projects in the middle of those weeks.

I was in your position four months or so ago. Had a full-time job outside the home where I managed 60 employees all the time plus handled the bulk of customer service. On top of it, I am the primary care taker for My Mom (who will be going through a liver transplant, my Brother (he’s is mentally disabled), and my 6 year old daughter).

Job outside the home, taking care of three people I love, taking care of a home, and then coming home to a high volume of orders on Fiverr- I was exhausted. I ended up emailing Fiverr and asking them to take my account down until I could come back.

As you can see, I recently asked to reinstate my account. What’s changed in the my life? A month and a half ago I quit my full-time job. It wasn’t worth the stress, not making me happy.

My advice for managing your time between a job outside the home, family, and Fiverr. Make sure you have time to yourself to de-stress.

Even now, I have “me time”.

I started my own business from home-- dog boarding. Still taking care of my three loved ones and managing the household duties. I find I am just as busy every single day as I was working outside the home, however, there is a lot less stress cause I am in more control with running my own business’. And making sure I have lot of different methods to cope with stress.

completely understand where your coming from. And to be honest sometimes I can’t cope with fiverr. I’m at school full-time - with home work and exams and study, it’s hard to juggle everything with fiverr AND have time to have a life!

My advice is, if it’s stressing you out - put your gigs on vacation mode, or just suspend them - finish your remaining orders. Then you can take a break and when you feel like it, go back to it.

I am just getting started here but it takes more than 5 hours for me to edit some extremely bad quality photos to be like HD but some buyers never understand our stress simply because they don’t feel our situations in real life. I personally have a big problem with my eyes. So that makes it take some more time to be edited. What to do.

I am a college student and I also work on Fiverr. I’ve been here a couple months now

and man it has been a ride! I love working and earning on Fiverr but I have to try to balance it out with course work and studying. I also try to complete some Fiverr orders at school during my free time 🙂
