A buyer might have scammed me

So this client ordered without contacting me first, i do graphic design work and mainly mockups, he only ordered one mockup but asked for two in the requirements I told him that and he said just do one of them and attached an example of what he wants, I recreated the same example photo as he sent but after getting all the files he asked me to cancel because he is not satisfied with the results, i am pretty sure he just downloaded the images and canceled and will use them what can i do?

Yeah, but i am pretty sure the buyer can still download them without the watermark using that download icon next to the files name isn’t that right?

He did not place them in delivery, he send them as sample for approval before delivery. And therefor do not have watermark. I always put demo over samples I send in order conversation.
