ANIMATORS! I need your help >:0

Hi, I’ve been drawing and painting for a very long time. A few years ago I went through Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate and Maya 3D tours. I really liked it, so I decided to become a designer (I am still studying at a design college)

In the future, I would like to draw animations and represent my invented worlds into reality. But the only program that I can work with right now (and of course, which is for animations) is the aforementioned Animate.
I would like to ask you who is strong and advanced in this topic, what programs do you use to create various kinds of animations? Do you use them for Fiverr?

Upfront: not an animator.
However, I have done a fair amount of research into it, because I would like to at least try it out sometime, and thus don’t want to use something that has a steep learning curve. (I wanted to go with OpenToonz, but the learning curve scared me.) It’s been a while since I did that research, though, so my information is rather outdated. I though Animate was one of the better ones, at the time.

CC Animate is OK for traditional cell animation.

If you are good at the fundamentals of animation then Animate’s limitations and crappy features shouldn’t hold you back from producing great work.

As a matter if fact it’s hard to find a great traditional animator nowadays although more and more people crack at it due to iPad’s success.

I use After Effects, Animate and C4D, and I try to sharpen my rigging skills in MOHO which is -in my opinion- the ultimate character animation tool right now.

Hi! I think the most important thing is to find the technique and style of animation you feel better. In Vimeo you will find a loooooot of inspiration.

After that, you need to know which tool (software) allows you to do that kind of animation.

I use After and Cinema, mostly but this are my preferences… there are animators that do stop motion with some papers and a mobile phone, or some others use Blender (100% free) to make amazing productions… so first discover your style and then look which software helps you to do it… you will find yours sure 😉
