Somebody asked for upwork account

Hi

I just received my first message ever but it is not for a project. He send me a document with this in it. He probably sends this to a lot of people. Should i report this?

Report this. This is pure scam! If he wants support related with Upwork, he should have posted this on Upwork not here.

Absolutely report it. It has all the classic signs of a scam.

1. The sender makes themselves sound genuine: senior web developer / 10 years.
2. They offer an excuse: low hourly rate in Asia.
3. They offer an incentive that appeals to greed: you keep 10% / $300 free a month (year right).
4. You end up being scammed, losing all your money and probably getting banned.

The message will have been sent to lots of new sellers. Report it and rid the world of these locusts.
