aliayyaz
Hello,I just finished a project (which was a sample that could potentially lead to more work). The buyer loved the work and even gave me more work. But when I saw the rating it was 4.3. When I asked the buyer if there was something wrong with the work he immediately said he had given work to multiple people and mistook me for someone else, hence the rating. Now he wants to change the rating but neither of us knows if that’s possible or not. Can anyone shed any light on the matter?

j6nyc6
Not worth trying to have it changed. If the buyer would have contacted CS on their own then maybe. As soon as you two started having a conversation about ratings it was over and done.
maddisont
You should never discuss reviews with your buyer (whether you feel they accidentally gave you the wrong rating or not). You’re likely to get a warning on your account no matter what the reasoning was. It’s best if you just leave it. No sense in getting in trouble over a mistake.
vickiespencer
Yes, even if your buyer goes to CS we have heard that it resulted in a warning on the seller’s account. As others said, leave it alone.image814×400 21 KB
aliayyaz
thanks for the response guys. but it’s all still unclear to me.what if i contact the seller for a genuine feedback of my work to understand what he thinks about it? how can that be deemed wrong?and in this case too, after the buyer told me he loved the work and wants to continue long term, of course i would’ve got to wondering why the rating was low. i felt it was a mistake, so i asked him and it turns out it actually was a mistake.where’s the foul play here? if any
