Can you offer someone a free gig?

I’ve had a very busy week and barely managed to finish a couple gigs before the deadline ran out, and the last one might not even make it. I realized this a bit too late, but now I’ve suspended my gig to catch up a bit… but I fear that last one will run late. Is there perhaps a way to offer someone a free gig? So that if he agrees to accept that gig as delivered, I’ll give him one for free and finish the job? Or will I be forced to go in “overtime”? (not even sure what that means for my stats)

Turns out the buyer told me - on his own accord - to take my time untill saturday and he’d still give positive feedback. Very refreshing. I’ll give him a couple of bonus extras to compensate 😉

I have definitely done this before! Depending on if they’ve bought extras or not, I would give them free gigs according to how much they spent. I HATE being late on gigs, but I had a lot of gigs in my que during finals week (as an interior design/architecture major at that) and I was unable to multitask.
