It takes a lot of dedication to become a freelancer. But most of all: patience. It will take some time before orders are rolling in.
But one tip I have: take every customer seriously, be kind and always do you best. Delivering late, cancelling orders etc. can do a lot of harm. Making buyers happy can lead to long-term relations.

So go out of your way for every customer!
