maddisont
Any time I have to research murder methods I feel like I’m getting added to some kind of government watchlist.
imagination7413
Oh, that’s a tough one…I’m a firm supporter of ‘doing the research’ so I’m not sure I can recall the weirdest, but most recent weird/strangest thing I’ve had to look up was “homemade pigskin rawhide recipes” so I could get an idea of how long the process takes. (Bonus: Found out it also doesn’t smell particularly good.)Although a few runner-ups:Japanese sound effect kanji for shattering icecontents of car emergency kitsAutoignition pointstranscriber glassplaying card dimensionAnd anything to do with lock-picking (similar vein to those murder or mystery scene shenanigans).
hobbbes
I just started writing, so far the weirdest thing I looked up for my writing is “can a tree survive without water or food for a year?”
