Do I have to make ads to sell the first gig?

I am a new seller, my field is graphic design and I want to know do I have to make ads to sell the first gig or not ?

It takes a while and some patience to get your first order. As I can see, you just joined Fiverr this April. Customers are more likely to place an order on those Gigs that have reviews already, because they don’t know if a seller without any ratings yet is trusted or not. While you wait for the order to arrive, I recommend being active, updating your description to more professional one, adding more FAQs, and so on. For me, it took about a week and a half to get my very first order, while to others, it could take up to few months.
It is a bit of a challenge to get your first order. So be smart, be active, offer something more for the same price, this could increase your sales.
