Hi all,

Limiting the number of revisions may create unsatisfied buyers. isn’t it?
I say many of content writers, report writers do this. is it good?
I need your expert advice to improve knowledge.

Thanks.

If you’re good at your job, your work won’t need too many revisions to begin with.

Limiting the number of revisions will protect you from unreasonable buyers.

Thank you. It was really helpful for me.

I am a writer / proofreader and I don’t offer any revisions. My reasoning is very simple:

  • I let my feedback do the selling for me
  • offering revisions is the same as saying “ask me to do more work for you for free”
  • If a client really is unhappy with your work, then do the decent thing and chat it through with them and offer to take a look at your work again. But don’t automatically give them that option when ordering.

Just my thoughts…it might lead to fewer people ordering, but in my experience it’s far less hassle longterm 🙂
