Can I use an animated photo in my GIG?

Hello everyone. How are you? I have one question. Please help me.

I see some animated gig thumbnail in Fiverr. But I want to know how is it possible? Fiverr can’t accept any GIF format. Just accept JPG, JPEG, and PNG.

I used PNG animated software to create PNG animation. That name is APNG .

Then I created a PNG animated image using APNG software and uploading it as a gig thumbnail. At that time it is animated in Gallery TAB but When I recheck the gig thumbnail in the my Fiverr page it is still and not animated. 😑

Just because it can be done, does not mean that it is a good idea.

Yes flashing images draw attention, but note GIFs are not part of the spec so I would assume that Fiverr have deliberately decided that animated imaged are not allowed. For good reason too as in about 12 seconds Fiverr would be look like a red light district and be putting epileptics in hospital all over the world.

Every Gig having images flashing all over the place is a terrible idea for all as tasteless flashing doesn’t make good customers like a service any better. Quite the opposite.

If it needs to move, put it in a video and keep your dignity.
