Help a brother out?

I joined a few days ago and have been growing impatient with the lack of sales. I would love to share on social media but don’t have much of a reach or am in involved with any groups that fall into my niche of gigs ( writing). What can I do to make those vital sales and attract buyers?

Welcome to the Fiverr forums.

It can take months for a seller to make their first sale.

Check out the Tips For Sellers category: You’ll find hundreds of threads offering advice on a variety of things to consider and/or improve. (Note: not all advice can apply to all gigs or categories, and be sure you check multiple sources as there are some false tips.)

It takes a lot of work to make it as a freelancer, so be sure to research and plan accordingly.

“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” (Attributed to Benjamin Franklin)

I’ve also gathered a bunch of helpful links in the (RRD) section at the end of this post:

Introduction– This is not a list on how to make gigs. This is for gigs that are already made that are under-performing, need an overhaul, or just need somewhere to start for self-evaluation. It does contain a few general-information bits, and can help during gig creation, but that is neither the focus nor the intent. For more information on any of the following sections or points, please see ‘Other Resources’ under (RRD) at the end of this post. Sections: (TCT) Title, Category, and Tags (DE…

Suggest you remove the above (copied) from your profile description as it does not come across as professional, and will put many buyers off.

Enjoy the forum. 🙂

Thank you, ahh I see the fault in my ways 😦

I have just noticed that you are sharing your off Fiverr IG details in one of your gigs. It is against the Terms of Service to share off Fiverr contact details.

Make sure to carefully read the Terms of Service at the bottom of the Fiverr main page as a violation can risk your account.

😳 Sorry, I didn’t know…
