Request Modification misuse?

Lately, I have seen an increase in buyers requesting modification, but instead of giving new instructions, they want to leave the order in the “modification requested” status while their client reviews the work. Sometimes orders like this are left hanging for days. Does anyone know if there are any negatives associated with this practice?

No direct negatives, but far too many loopholes.

It looks like you’ve covered what counts as a revision, so at least that’s one loop closed.

Another possible risk is that, as you’re dealing with a reseller, you might not have received the full instructions given by the original client. It’s also possible that the original client cancels, and prompts the reseller to cancel, even though you’ve already done the work. (And cancellations do have negative effects.)
