How Popular Fiverr Is In Your Real Life Community?

Hi, I am Reki. I live in Surabaya, Indonesia. I am studying Tourism in Ma Chung University.

I’m just so curious about how do people in different places think about Fiverr.

Fiverr is not so familiar in my community (college, family). They all are used to be online with Facebook, Twitter, etc. But I only find about 5 of my friends using Fiverr. And most of them are not quite active in this site.

How about you? How Popular Fiverr Is In Your Real Life Community?

I don’t know of anyone in my real life who uses Fiverr. I have been telling a lot people I know about Fiverr, but none of them have even heard of it, which surprises me because I have heard quite a bit about it in various places on the internet.

Their reactions to the idea of Fiverr are interesting. Some people kind of laugh at it, and others think it’s a cool concept. Most people are surprised to hear that I’m actually making money doing little five dollar jobs.

I found out about Fiverr through a friend of mine, but he is the only person I know of who also knows this site. Overall it seems generally unknown to the common person in my community.
