Community Standards & Forum Rules - 2020

Recommended Posts

Some of us are less experienced on Fiverr than others, and when we unwittingly go against them it would be useful to have this pointed out in a civilised way, rather than with an aggressive email threatening suspension of your account. You have a lot to learn in terms of customer service.

@mjensen415 This is great and all but I just don’t see newcomers to the forums adhering to any of these. Have you considered making it mandatory for new members to read through the forum rules before posting?

Sweet cherry coke this is needed so badly. Out of the front page posts, only 3 weren’t asking the same thing.

@mjensen415 To add to this, when are the changes to muted/non-muted channels going to come back where we can customize what we want to see and ignore the rest?

Seriously. Please tell me this is coming back soon.

Use your best judgement. If you’re adding to the same thought, it’s ok continue an old thread. This is why “suggestions” will pop up next to the compose box for a new thread. If you’re bringing in a new perspective, you could reference or mention the older thread in your topic. There is no hard rule for “less than one year old” or anything.

Mentioning the old thread, then updating your topic with new information would likely be the best way to go about it if you’re not sure.

Bookmarked it. Coz I’ll be sharing it often. 😁
