Unable to set up Seller Profile due to not listing my occupation

The professional info page won’t allow me to continue because under “Occupation” it only lists options that have nothing to do with my occupation! (I’m freelance copy editor and journalist). I click “Other” but it won’t accept it. It likewise won’t accept me choosing “Other” under best skills when it only offers ridiculous options like “Celebrity Impersonator”. Not getting a good first impression of this site.

Thanks. Nothing directly related to my issue, but I did find an actual email address I can use as their support page is pretty useless unless you fit into a specific pigeonhole.

Thanks again. I did manage to work my way around it (the general occupations were listed broadly). This thread can be closed now (if that’s done in this forum).

You could edit the title and add the word (SOLVED) if you wish.

I found to this post through google and I'm currently in the same pickle as OP. Searching the forum for "can’t complete seller profile" doesn't come up with a single thread about the search term, only some other threads about new sellers asking advice and threads about promoting stuff.
