What is this type of 3D image called?

I’ve seen these types of images sometimes and wonder what they are called and how they are made? Where do people get these? Is there a site for them?
Often they are animated so you would see candles flickering, or waterfalls etc.

This seems to be 2d environment background image. There are many artist who specialize in painting them for games, with or without animation of its elements.

I see it’s a work of some 3d environment artist who made 3d modeling and PBR texturing, and VFX artist who simulated the fire and the rain.

I work as a 3d modeler actually 🙂
