Guest davidhaldorsen Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Hello all. I’ve been working on optimizing my gig on-page, but I’m not sure how good my video is.Would you please rate my short marketing video on a scale of 1-10 and give your top suggestion for improving it?
newplus_design Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Sorry. I check it but I can’t see that video and images. I don’t know why. However, your response time is so long. That is not good
Guest davidhaldorsen Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I wonder why you couldn’t see my video? I was able to open the page in another browser not signed in.Re response time. I forgot to sign out the other night and found a message early in the morning. I responded - How long does that take to correct?
Guest davidhaldorsen Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 A lot of text ?? I really don`t like it.Thanks for looking mudassaraseed - but did you know a major recent study found that 85% of Facebook videos are watched with the sound off?Link: https://digiday.com/media/silent-world-facebook-video/

imagination7413 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 That makes text really, really importantYes, text is important. However, a LOT of text can be distracting. The text and video must NOT be competing for attention. Otherwise it’s too much information all at once which causes a form of minor sensory overload. It’s much like a speaker using a slideshow. People cannot read a lot of text and listen to a speaker, and still retain the information, when the two don’t mesh.

I’ve had huge engagement with text rich videos - thousands to hundreds of thousands of views each. I find in-video animated text much nicer than say captioning etc.

imagination7413 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 It really varied the background images.background imagesImages? Not videos?Still images?
Guest davidhaldorsen Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 background imagesImages? Not videos?Still images?I’ve used still images and video snippets as well character animations in my videos with lots and lots of value adding text.
gogugmg Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 @davidhaldorsen The transition used is meaningless, the texts are arranged out of proportion, you can only use an animated sidebar for each scene. You should work on the presentation because the client must be attracted to it.Capture.PNG736×407 82.3 KB

gogugmg Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 @davidhaldorsenYou can look at my profile, I have a gig where I use texts.
