Email server a little backed up?

I received an email an hour ago titled “Thanks for placing your order with Fiverr”, followed by another email that said “How did we do?”. Since I haven’t placed a Fiverr order in a few months, I’m guessing that either:


  1. My account was hacked (it wasn’t, I just checked and no recent orders)
  2. Your email server was constipated and someone poured mineral oil into a USB port
  3. Fiverr outsourced their marketing department to Onerr, which ostensibly would only do 20% as good of a job as Fiverr gigs.

We sincerely apologize for the email you’re referring to. The subject line was unclear. If you haven’t placed an order then no funds were taken out of your account. This email was intended to inform you of Gigs that we recommend based on your last purchase, even if such purchase was placed several months ago.
