Why am I receiving orders if I have put a limit?

Good Afternoon everyone, I have a big problem because I have put a limit in my order queue but I still keep receiving messages and orders from buyers. Why is this?

your direct link active allowing returning buyers with a direct link to purchase your gig but your toggle button is off so you should to go help and support and submit a request.

I was curious about that too. I found out that putting a limit on your orders does not prevent new orders. Putting a limit on your orders removes it from the search page. However, it is still possible for buyers can to find you and place orders.

The only way to stop orders on a gig for sure is to pause that gig.
