Using a Clients work for Self Promotion on Fiver

Curious - if you do a job for someone and the material they supply and the work you do for them adds up to a great result. Are you permitted to use that material in your gig showcase?
Do you ask the client if you can use it?
Any tips or other advice is most welcome.
p.s. My gigs aren’t up yet,… just thinking ahead

They are added to your portfolio automatically if your buyer tick a box for that when completing an order
