Sudden increase in spam messsages?

Hi all, I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced a sudden increase in spam messages? They come in the order of “Hi, I want to do xxxxx, with your gig (in my case usually my gig that is highest on the list), please respond to me”, then after you respond, like maybe 5 hrs later, you see “xxxx can no longer be contacted, this will not affect your response rate” and their profile no longer exists.

They come in cycles … probably some kind of youtube video or blog post suggestion. Don’t worry about it … just report, block and move on
