Already a Scam On My First Day

Hi folks:

I literally just set up my account and within 5 minutes had a message. It seemed unauthentic (like a scam) but I went on asking questions while trying to google the wording. I ended up just telling her that I wouldn’t be able to help her out.

This was the wording:

I will like you to be our quick and smart virtual assistant/ data entry.The duty available is assisting the busy company account department in workers wages, keep records of materials filed or removed, using log-books or computers,for ongoing project.
Project period is (3) months
Part time/ Full time.

Just a heads up…I don’t know that it was a scam, but this wording has been posted A LOT on freelancer sites according to Google.

If you reply, they’ll ask you to send checks to random people. It’s a scam. Just say no and report the messenger.
