Replay to buyer

Hello,
Please anyone says how to replay when the buyer just started a conversation.
I ask this question because I receive some messages from a buyer but after my response buyers doesn’t replay to me.
Normally I use this sentence “Thank you for contacting me/ Thank you for reaching me then ( some words about the project )”

There is no hard and fast rules, go with easy conversation may be the buyer was got offline. this is not a big issue, your approach is fine @acoroid
