what if a seller edit his gig frequently ? is there any disadvantage? if so then what is that?

Yup,
If you frequently edit your gig then it can down your gig from the current stage. You have to take in mind a few things when you are editing your gig like you can edit your gig one time at a day or if your gig already in 4 or 5 pages you don’t need to edit the gig.
